Current Vacancies

We are looking for a part-time experienced Office Co-ordinator to manage our offices in Bobbing, Sittingbourne and to assist our expanding team, to start mid-February 2022.

This will be a very varied role and will suit someone who is good at multi-tasking with a can-do attitude!

What you’ll do:

  • answer incoming telephone calls and manage BT portal
  • use a range of software, including email, spreadsheets and databases, to ensure the efficient running of the office
  • update and monitor online and paper filing systems
  • manage Onboarding process for all new clients
  • manage social media postings, ensure website is up-to-date
  • create quarterly newsletter using Mailchimp or similar
  • mail merge emails to clients at key points during tax year
  • assist with recruitment and induction of new staff
  • manage staff appraisal system; promote staff development and training
  • monitor and file Companies House submissions
  • organise customer service monitoring schedule
  • review and update company policy documents
  • ensure compliance with health and safety regulations: update risk assessments, record and monitor first aider certifications and monitoring fire safety system and electrical equipment
  • arrange bank payments for regular suppliers
  • record office expenditure, including petty cash, and manage the budget
  • maintain general stationery, printed stationery, kitchen supplies and office equipment
  • maintain the condition of the office and arrange for necessary repairs

What we’re looking for:

Our ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role with the following key skills:

  • good organisational and multi-tasking skills and ability to use own initiative
  • strong customer service and communication skills with a confident telephone manner
  • excellent computer skills
  • confidentiality and trustworthiness
  • accuracy and excellent attention to detail
  • and most of all, you will need to be a good team player!

Experience working in an accountancy practice would be advantageous but not essential.

We are offering £9.50-£10.25 per hour, depending on experience.

We are looking for an experienced AAT qualified bookkeeper to join our expanding team at our new offices in Bobbing, Sittingbourne.

What you’ll do:

Working closely with our team, you’ll manage the bookkeeping services for a portfolio of clients including:

  • Recording day to day financial transactions in accounts software.
  • Issuing invoices and paying regular bills
  • Maintaining purchase and sales ledgers and coding appropriately
  • Recording cash receipts and handling bank deposits
  • Bank reconciliations and preparing cash flow statements
  • Assisting in the preparation of management accounts
  • Preparing weekly, fortnightly or monthly Payroll, CIS and Auto Enrolment
  • Processing sales and purchase transactions for VAT filing
  • Completing and filing VAT returns
  • Preparing business finance reports
  • Providing administrative support as needed

What we’re looking for:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have previous experience in a similar role and be able to demonstrate the following key skills:

  • Good organisational and multi-tasking skills
  • Numerical accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills
  • Excellent computer skills (including being proficient in using Xero) and a willingness to learn

£10 per hour/15 hours per week

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Payroll Administrator to join our busy team in Bobbing, Sittingbourne.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background within payroll, the ability to work to tight deadlines and targets, excellent organisational skills and the ability to use their own initiative, as well as being a good team player!

Key responsibilities will be:

  • validating and processing timesheets and holiday claims,
  • setting up new starters,
  • importing weekly pay figures to Iris Payroll,
  • calculating and processing manual payroll adjustments,
  • assessing employees` pension contributions,
  • preparing payroll reports and making RTI submissions to HMRC,
  • issuing electronic payslips and responding to queries including third party enquiries. 

Hours/days can be flexible by agreement.

We are looking for an Accounts Senior to join our small, friendly team to help achieve our ambitious growth plans.

The role will involve managing a portfolio of clients, building relationships and developing an awareness of clients’ affairs and seeking opportunities to provide value added services. 

The successful candidate will also be responsible for mentoring and reviewing the work of other members of the team.

We pride ourselves on providing excellent customer service and complete client focus will be required in all aspects of work.

To be considered for the role, candidates must have the following:

  • Minimum of 4 years practice experience
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Be able to produce statutory accounts and working papers to a high standard
  • Up to date knowledge of accounting standards
  • Have a positive can-do attitude

Experience of Xero and/or Digita will be a significant advantage.
