About the Company

Fosters Accountants and Consultants Ltd is based at Grove Dairy Farm Business Centre, Bobbing Hill, Bobbing near Sittingbourne, Kent. The firm was founded by Stacey Foster and began trading in 2016 offering a wide range of accounting and consultancy services.

We are a forward-thinking, award-winning accountancy practice accredited by The Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW), the highest possible professional body for the accountancy industry.

Stacey Foster ACA, Managing Director

Friendly, enthusiastic and pragmatic

  • Stacey qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2012 in a top London accountancy practice, then gained extensive experience as a Finance Director before setting up Fosters Accountants in 2016.
  • This well-rounded experience makes her commercially astute and pretty unique, and best placed to help our clients.
  • Her aim is to empower business owners with a clear understanding of their finances, working with them to develop their business and increase profitability
  • Stacey is not your typical accountant, she is more than just a number cruncher. She is friendly, has a great sense of humour and is very approachable
  • Stacey is very much client facing and oversees all client work from accounts to tax planning, as well as heading up higher -level business strategy and consultancy services.
  • Stacey has successfully grown her business whilst raising two fiercely independent and strong-willed daughters (wonder where they get that from!?) with a new addition to the family, a baby boy, in June 2021.

Gavin Hooker, BSc (Hons) FCCA FMAAT, Client Manager

  • Gavin joined Fosters in March 2021 as our new Client Manager and was thrown in at the deep end, with Stacey going on maternity leave in May!
  • Gavin is a qualified chartered certified accountant with 15 years’ experience in the accounting industry, working with owner managed businesses of various sizes and sectors.
  • Gavin not only assists businesses with compliance services, tax planning and other advisory work but also helps them enhance their finance processes through streamlining, providing training and accurate financial advice and information to achieve their goals.
  • Outside work Gavin is a league team captain for a local badminton club and he also enjoys countryside walks with his wife, daughter and their dog, Buddy!

Luisa Margione, MAAT, Accounting Technician

  • Luisa has been with Fosters since May 2019. She has many years of accountancy experience and is a member of the Association of Accounting Technicians
  • Luisa is a friendly and motivated person who strives to provide the best service possible to our clients from assisting with Tax Returns, VAT, CIS and payroll to providing training on Xero software (she is the payroll and Xero Queen!)
  • Luisa enjoys an active lifestyle as a mother of 2 football mad young boys.
  • When she is not looking after everyone else, she enjoys good food, pampering and shopping!

Jake May, MATT, Accounts & Tax Senior

  • Jake joined us in February 2020, after working in practices for several years and becoming a qualified accounts and tax technician along the way.
  • Jake handles all aspects of accountancy and tax and is building his own portfolio of clients. He loves the refreshing approach Fosters has towards Employees and Clients.
  • He enjoys keeping fit and frequently goes running. He will be running the London Marathon in October 2021, raising money for the Mind charity.
  • Jake also enjoys baking, seeing friends and going for walks with his partner and his gorgeous dog, Stewie.

Skye Humphries BSc (Hons), Graduate Trainee Accountant

  • Skye joined Fosters in September 2020 after impressing Stacey with her passion and enthusiasm and with a glowing reference from her tutors.
  • Skye graduated from Canterbury Christ Church University with a First-Class degree in Accounting and Finance in May 2020.
  • She is studying to complete her ACA, after receiving exemptions from University, whilst learning the ropes with Stacey and the team.
  • Skye loves going to Zumba and Yoga classes in her spare time to keep fit and enjoys socialising and eating out with her friends. When she is home, she loves nothing more than watching a good film with a cup of tea!

Lily Smith, Trainee Accountant

  • Lily is our newest recruit, joining Fosters as an apprentice Trainee Accountant in September 2021.
  • Lily has just completed her A level studies, loves numbers and has always had aspirations to be an accountant! She will bring enthusiasm and dedication to the Practice and will begin her accountancy studies early in 2022.
  • She has a passion for horses and enjoys show-jumping in her spare time, as well as taking part in other outdoor activities.

Jenny Coveney, Practice Manager

  • Jenny has over 25 years’ administration experience in a variety of industries and has a keen interest in Quality Management Systems, becoming a BSI Internal Auditor in her previous role.
  • Jenny is pro-active and professional with excellent communication skills and prides herself on providing first class customer service.
  • Enjoys walking and weekends away in her caravan with her husband, as well as attending music festivals and doing voluntary work in her spare time.
  • Having worked together for a number of years in the past, Stacey was delighted when Jenny agreed to join the Practice in 2019.
